Dental caries in children is a growing concern around the world, with over 530 million children suffering from caries in their primary teeth or “milk teeth”. This troubling trend is highlighted by the 2011 Cambodian National Oral Health Survey (CNOHS), which reported that 97% of 6-year-old children had “milk teeth”, and a staggering 86%
It important that parents and caregivers take the necessary steps to ensure that their children adopt good oral hygiene practices, including regular brushing and flossing, as well as routine dental checkups. Together, we can help prevent dental caries and promote healthy smiles for all children
